Want to make one at home?

Here are the materials we use in class, and other ideas for mandala making:

In class, we used Illustration Board

  • Sometimes hard to find.

  • Available at art stores. Cut it with an exacto knife to get it the size (standard is s 5x5,  8x8, 10x10 for square frames).

  • In class we did size 6x6

Square Canvas

Use Acrylic Paint.

Paint brushes:

  • Consider getting a frame for your work!

  • Michaels sells nice 8x8 and 10x10 frames for only $10 or less - PS bring coupons! More Frames in store, also they sell 5x5 frames.

  • I have not seen a 6x6 frame

    • So I encourage you to use this knowledge to now make your own mandala 5x5, 8x8, 10x10, or even 12x12 to fit a frame!

Use the physical tools and meditation tools from class to develop your mandala with your own intention.
