Intention: Walk through life as though walking the ocean shore. Each seashell has a song, a message. Let yourself be drawn to the ones that call to you; let your intuition guide you to your truth.
The intention is energetically infused into each piece through a meditation while I paint. With each stroke of paint, I embed the specific energy into the piece.
This is part of my ocean collection. Using a layering technique with knife painting and brush painting, I wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for the seashell in order to capture the solemn daytime stroll on a sandy white beach. There’s nothing like a mindful walking meditation on the beach, weather you’re searching for sea shells or searching the depths of your soul. The pastel rose-quartz and sandy colors and varying textures intend to create a softened state of mind. The knife painting technique brings gentle movement and life to the piece.
The 3-Dimensional Gold Embellishment and sparks of gold paint bring exciting energy to the painting. This piece is signed on the side of the gallery wrapped canvas.
The 1.5” thick gallery wrap canvas allow it to stand freely on a desk, table, or shelf. It can easily hang on a wall without wall hanging hardware, which gives it a fresh clean look.
