My Favorite Meditation Song!

Hi, This is my favorite meditation song, “I am Thine” by Jai Jagdeesh.

I listen to it (or other Jai Jagdeesh songs) every morning!

How do you meditate with a song?

  1. Eliminate distractions

    • Turn your phone on do not disturb, put pets away, etc.

  2. Headphones in, press play

    • Plug in your fav Airpods!

  3. Close your eyes.

  4. BE MINDFUL

    • Focus on your breath.

    • Focus on the melody, her voice, the words.

    • Focus on only the present moment.

  5. Notice what emotions & thoughts come up. Don’t judge. Let them go.

    • My favorite way to let go is to imagine placing the thought/emotion into a basket. Then, tie balloons to it, and watch it float away and disappear.

    • Poof! How do you feel now that it’s gone? Hopefully more at peace.

    • You can make the balloons any color that suits your thought/emotion.

  6. Be at Peace.

    • Focus on being at Peace in your heart and connecting to your soul.

    • Wahe Guru (sometimes pronounced “vahe” guru) is the mantra that connects you to your soul, to your purpose, and your highest truth.

Note: If you’ve never meditated before, it may take some getting used to! Be patient.

Also, some people prefer silence over music, so if you’re not feeling the music, that’s okay too! Which do you prefer?
