Intention: Our earth is the heart of our universe. Earth’s beauty allows us to unveil the extravagance of our universe.

This piece was inspired by our connectedness to the universe. The origin of mandalas is that each layer of circles represents layers of our connections to the universe. The center of the mandala is meant to resemble the soul, and each layer symbolizes our souls connection to our selves, family, community, and so on. The center circle in this mandala represents the earth with earthy colors, and as the mandala expands outward, the colors become more mystical.

The 3-dimensional gold embellishment gives this painting character and gives it that special spark to bring it to life.
